Martin Luther King march on Washington – 50th Anniversay

This passed Saturday I was lucky enough to be one of thousands to “march” on Washington in commemoration of Martin Luther King’s march 50 years ago when he delivered his famous, “I have a dream” speech. You can read more about the march here.

The mix of people was quite something to experience and of course I snapped a few of the “best dressed” celebrators. Looks like headwear is a big thing in D.C. right now as well as camo. I’m not complaining; I’ve been slowly warming up to the idea of camo making a comeback.

Here’s what I saw:

Washington D.C. street style - camo

Washington D.C. street style - head scarf

Washington D.C. street style - camo

Washington D.C. street style - I love D.C.

Washington D.C. street style - suits on the street

Washington D.C. street style - headwear

Washington D.C. street style - stars and stripes

Washington D.C. street style - justice
